President and Representative Director, PTP Group

Greetings from the President
Our company was born in Laos, the last unexplored country in Southeast Asia with a population of 7 million (ranked around 120th in GDP per capita), and our main business is retail wholesale business (Phin Tokyo Plaza business) that imports and sells Japanese foods, daily necessities, cosmetics, etc. from Japan, and as of 2023, we are operating our business in Laos, Cambodia, Moldova, Georgia, As of 2023, we are expanding our business in Laos, Cambodia, Moldova, and Georgia. In fact, until our company's entry into these countries, there were few Japanese products available even in large supermarkets. Many companies thought that Japanese products would not sell in such places and did not even consider entering the country.

We opened this business in Laos in 2015, and the business has grown through many twists and turns.
What we have learned in the process is that "Japanese products have the potential to be sold anywhere in the world if we understand the needs of the products and communicate their value." This is what we have learned.
In Moldova, one of the poorest countries in Europe with a population of about 3 million (ranked 100th in GDP per capita), where there are only about 20 Japanese expatriates, there were lines of people waiting in line immediately after the opening of the store.

Japanese products are in demand in countries all over the world.
I know that there are many people who seek Japanese products in any small country.
We will make it our mission to deliver the value of Japanese products to people in countries where Japanese products have yet to reach, leaving the huge markets of the U.S. and China to large corporations and other companies.

PTP Group President and Representative Director Yuki Morino

The PTP Group is a group of companies that jointly promote the overseas marketing of Japanese products used in daily life, such as food and household goods, etc. The PTP Group is headquartered in Laos, Southeast Asia, and its flagship company is PTP Corporation. Euro K.K. in Moldova, Eastern Europe, and Quattro Splus K.K. in Japan. The group operates six directly managed stores and also has wholesale operations within each country as well as in neighboring countries that share borders with the group. In May 2023, PTP Euro will open its first directly managed store in the Moldovan capital of Chişinău. As its name suggests, the company was formed to expand its sales operations not only in Moldova, but also to Rumania, Ukraine, and beyond. Furthermore, the company is currently preparing to establish a fifth PTP Group company in Georgia in the Caucasus region, PTP Georgia Ltd. which will open around August 2023 and will engage in retail and wholesale in Georgia, with plans to expand its operations to neighboring Azerbaijan and Armenia in the near future. In the international community, appreciation for Japanese-made food products and household goods is growing rapidly. We believe that it is the mission of the PTP Group to make these products available at affordable prices to as many people as possible, even in countries where they are currently not easily accessible. Some people argue that these problems can be solved by the development of international mail-order (EC). While EC is certainly an effective means, unlike domestic EC, international EC not only makes the transportation of goods extremely expensive, but also often requires complicated customs clearance procedures on the part of the buyer. In this sense, we believe that if there is a physical store specializing in Japanese products where Japanese products are available at reasonable prices, customers will not only find it much more convenient, but they will also enjoy the pleasure of shopping. We will continue our efforts to expand our business areas and deliver Japanese delicacies and Japanese quality to the world.
