Phin Tokyo Plaza
Cambodia
Phin Tokyo Plaza
Cambodia is a small country with a population of approximately 16 million, surrounded by Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos, and is still growing with a GDP growth rate of approximately 5%. With the opening of the first AEON shopping mall about 10 years ago, Japan and Japanese products have become familiar to Cambodians. While trade in Japanese goods is becoming saturated in large countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, Cambodia is attracting attention as the next market. Phin Tokyo Plaza opened in Phnom Penh in December 2021 and operates through directly managed stores, wholesale, and live commerce.
